Festival overview

Artists

This year we will offer you once again an innovative, exclusive and excellent line-up of the best artists of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbeans.

In total, more than 40 bands and DJs will perform live on stage.  The line-up will be complete at the end of April.

Dance workshops

In addition to the live music and DJs we also offer dance workshops. These will take place in our Salsa Palace.

Facilities

Afro-Latino is a green (carbon neutral festival since 2010), family-friendly and accessible festival in Bree (B). We pride ourselves in waste avoidance, waste sorting and waste reduction. In 2010 we won the first OVAM Groenevent Award.

Info stand - Return stand - Afro-shop

Directly adjacent to the entrance there is an info stand with festival brochures, free ear protection and lost-and-found. Please note all our stages do not exceed legal sound levels.

At the info stand you can also exchange your drinking cups. For every 25 drinking cups you can choose between a nice-to-have gadget or a voucher for 1 drink. In the afroshop you will find several nice gadgets such as T-shirts, hats... Come have a look!

Pay by card

At the counters for drink vouchers you can pay by Bancontact or any other card that has the Maestro logo.

First Aid - Red Cross

Between the Children's village and the hammocks there is a first aid stand (labelled EHBO). It is open 24/24 for the festival and camping.

Breast feeding - Sanitary facilities

There is a separate room where mothers can breastfeed their children discreetly. This room also features a diaper-changing station. You find this room next to the First Aid (EHBO) unit.

Accessibility for physically disabled

There is a seperate parking adjacent to the entrance. The terrain is flat and drivable (mainly grass). There are special toilets and we have an dedicated area with every stage for wheelchairs.

Every physically disabled person gets a 50% reduction on the entry tickets, and so does their required accompanying helper. To qualify for this reduction you must register beforehand via an email to info@afro-latino.be or writing to Afro-Latino vzw, Bergstraat 19, B-3960 Bree.
