Legendary mestizo singer Manu Chao is coming to Genk!
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Afro-Latino Festival, we are organizing a smashing “Anniversary Concert” with none other than Manu Chao at the Limburghal in Genk. Manu Chao thought it would be a great idea to be our anniversary present! Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 8 p.m. is the day!

Manu Chao is bringing with him Argentinian-Italian guitarist Lucky Salvadori and Galician percussionist Miguel Rumbao. During his concerts, Manu Chao still browses from his rich repertoire of both his first band ‘Mano Negra’ and his ‘classic’ albums ‘Clandestino’ (1998), ‘Próxima Estación: Esperanzah’ (2001) and ‘La Radiolina’ (2007). Although he will also perform songs from his new album ‘Viva Tu,’ released in September 2024.

Performing as a support act will be Jahcoustix. This German world citizen gave a fabulous concert at the Afro-Latino Festival in 2012 with catchy roots reggae.

In 2024 Manu Chao also did some concerts in Belgium, these were all sold out very quickly. So be quick if you don't want to miss this unique party in Genk! And this for only 30 euro! Ticket sales start immediately!
