CAMPING :

Our campsite is getting a complete makeover this year and is being relocated. The new campsite location is situated to the right of the new festival entrance, within very short walking distance. Additionally, renovated sanitary facilities (showers & toilets) are being installed. The campsite opens on Friday, July 17 at 15h00 and closes on Monday, July 20 at 12h00. Camping tickets are available via our ticket page for 25 euros per person or 30 euros on-site, regardless of whether you stay for one, two, or three nights. Please note: to preserve the cozy atmosphere of the new campsite, spaces are limited. So, act fast!

PARKING FOR CAMPERS/ MOBILHOMES / CARAVANS:

Motorhomes / Campervans / Caravans may ONLY park in the designated parking area, which is being integrated into the renovated campsite. Parking tickets for these vehicles (25 euros) must be purchased separately via our ticket page or on-site. All occupants must also purchase a camping ticket to use the campsite's sanitary facilities. Here too, the message is to act fast, as parking spaces for motorhomes are limited.

The following rules apply:

• Festival staff watches over the observance of rules and decency, you must follow their directions strictly.
• The campsite is only accessible to people with a valid festival ticket or festival band. Therefore, if you want to check into the campground on Saturday, you will need a combi or Saturday ticket or already have a Combi or Saturday brace on.
• Camping opens Friday at 15h00 and must be vacated and clean by Monday morning at 12h00.
  To accommodate as many people as possible, the campground is not accessible to cars (except RVs), so please keep in mind that you will need to carry everything into the campground yourself.
  Security personnel are authorized to search campers and their luggage. In possession of dangerous items, the police will be called.
• Leave valuables at home if possible, certainly do not leave them unattended in the tent. The campground operator, festival organizer and local government are not responsible for any thefts.
  The campsite manager and or festival organizer cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur on the campsite.
• The campground is divided into areas marked out with signage tape. Mobile homes, caravans and tents must be set up in the designated areas. This is supervised by the camping staff.
  Fire lanes between the designated areas must be kept clear at all times. Mobile homes, caravans and tents located on fire lanes will be immediately removed by security.
• At night (between 10 p.m. and 10 a.m.) be considerate of others around you who have partied all day and want to sleep at night.
• Clean up your own trash, there are trash containers within walking distance.
• For anyone who turns in a full trash bag originating from the campground at the campground entrance, you will receive a drink voucher for the festival grounds (and an empty trash bag).
• If you have minors with you, you are responsible for them at all times.
• Under no circumstances may alcoholic beverages be offered to or consumed by -16 year olds. Of alcoholic beverages, 16- and 17-year-olds may only consume beer and wine.
• Few incidents happen at the campsite and the Afro-Latino Festival, but if an incident does occur or you feel unsafe, please report to a staff member, to security, to a first aid worker or to the police. These services are 24/24 available. Violence or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated at the festival, campsite or parking lot.
• In an exceptional case of emergency: follow the guidelines of security, staff and emergency services on site. The latest information will be provided on site, then via Social Media, then via our website.

For the sake of good atmosphere, order and safety, the following items are prohibited in the campground:

• Weapons, in case of suspected possession the orderlies without exception will be notified immediately.
• Drugs, in case of suspected possession the security forces will be notified immediately without exception.
• Animals, with the exception of disabled persons' assistance dogs.
• Household goods such as seats, sofas, swimming pools and the like (this will be very strictly supervised!!!).
• Glassware and glass bottles (except medication and perfume articles)
• Wheelbarrows, trolleys and shopping carts
• Tap systems
• Walky-Talkies
• Drones and other (tele-guided) objects
• Campfires, barbecuing at your tent or using a gas fire outside the BBQ area (because of the fire hazard of the tents)
• Destruction, aggressive behavior and not cleaning up trash
• Power generators, sound systems, vuvuzelas and other noise producing attributes
• Destruction or opening of the Heras fence around the campsite
• Commercial activities, such as trading in food, drink, drugs, etc.
• Promotional activities, such as handing out flyers or advertising leaflets
• Cars and motorcycles are not allowed in the campground, they remain in the parking lot.
• Anyone breaking the rules will be denied access to the campground, and serious offenders may be prosecuted. A report will always be filed. The festival rules can be found at www.afro-latino.be.

Every year after the festival, we are confronted with an unimaginable amount of trash on the camping site, sometimes less than 10 meters away from a garbage bin. Left behind by festival-goers who do clean up everything neatly at home. Let this festival be your home too, and clean up your garbage.

At the festival site and campsite waste is collected selectively. We would like to appeal to your cooperation. The message is: respect yourself and your neighbor by not littering and use the garbage bags and bins at the campsite.
