Tickets

On our ticketpage you can buy your e-tickets (festivaltickets, campingtickets and vouchers).

Access Control

At the entrance, you may be scanned and searched. If you refuse to, entry will be prohibited. Security personnel will determine which items may or may not enter.

WE RECOMMEND NOT TO TAKE BACK PACKAGINGS ON THE FESTIVAL SITE, whoever nevertheless wishes to take a backpack onto the festival site is obliged to submit to a check by security.

To keep it fun and safe for everyone, unfortunately some things are prohibited:

  • Making fire, also fireworks, lasers, paint bombs,.... are forbidden
  • professional photo and video cameras
  • recording equipment
  • umbrellas
  • Weapons (or items that can be used as weapons)
  • Glass, sharp and (potentially) dangerous objects
  • Power generators, sound systems and other sound sources (such as vuvuzelas,...)
  • Animals
  • Drones and other (tele-guided) flying objects
  • Self-brought drinks and food, in all kind of packaging, are not allowed on the festival site
  • Drugs are prohibited in Belgium, so also on the Afro-Latino festival (this is the festival site, camping and parking lot)
  • Smoking cannabis in the presence of minors is illegal.
  • Only stallholders appointed by Afro-Latino vzw (catering, world market, camping catering) are allowed to trade on and around the festival site / Camping site.

There is no Playground for children anymore at Afro-Latino. Children are welcome, together with parent(s), but there is no playground for children or a dedicated program for children. Children younger than 13 years have free access (except in the VIP area), but only when together with an adult.

The following rules apply to every visitor to the festival, including the parking and camping area:

  • Each ticket contains a unique barcode, which is assigned once. Entry will be denied for a counterfeit, copied or reused ticket. Fraud will be prosecuted by court.
  • Tickets will not be fully or partially refunded, replaced or exchanged, including in case of program changes, program cancellations or force majeure situations of Afro-Latino vzw, the organizers, artists or festival visitors.
  • Afro-Latino vzw, the organizers and third parties involved in the organization of the event cannot be held liable for any injury and/or damage that visitors to the event may suffer, either inside or outside the festival grounds.
  • Only Afro-Latino vzw, Paylogic and the presale channels mentioned on the Tickets page of www.afro-latino.be are recognized sales channels and may charge administration fees. Unauthorized sellers or resellers will be charged and prosecuted by Afro-Latino vzw. Do not purchase tickets through unauthorized (re)sales channels or individuals.
  • Professional cameras and recording equipment, glass, cans, bottles, umbrellas, weapons, sharp objects, drones, fireworks, lasers, paint bombs, self-brought drinks and food are not allowed on the festival grounds.
  • The security staff determines what is not allowed and has the right to (temporarily) remove these items.
  • Entry to the festival site implies consent to possible frisking by the security staff. In case of refusal to be searched, entry may be denied without refund of your entrance fee.

Workshops

At the Salsa Hacienda there are some workshops every day like salsa, bachata, Zumba, etc. Check and improve your dancing skills!

Info stand

There is an Info stand at the festival site where you collect your ear plugs, ask for lost & founds.

ATM

We have ATM machines at the entrance and stands where you can buy food an drinking tickets.

First Aid stand

There is a First Aid Stand, staffed 24/24 at the festival and the camping site.

Accessibility for persons with physical disabilities

There is a parking lot close to the entrance. The festival site is accessible for wheel chairs, we have accessible toilets. In front of main stage there is a platform to have a good look on stage.

Unfortunately the VIP area is not accessible for wheel chairs because it is historical building with no elevator.
